Many of you will know I’ve been talking about my upcoming first trade book for a while. Well, we finally have a release date – and today, there’s an opportunity for you to be involved in the launch of this book, and even more, the beginning of a movement.
The world we live in, is, right now, a world of fear and division. Political and cultural events, especially in the last year, have made people afraid. And we live in a consumer world, where merit and value is earned, not given. Even religion today uses the language of merit as a basis for our belonging.
And this has never sat right with me. I knew there had to be an alternative, and that the way of Jesus wasn’t grounded on merit.
Surely it was grounded in something else. And that’s when I began to explore the concept of grace.
As I explored more, I discovered the truth about divine grace. That with God, our value is infinite, and is given, not earned. That we are already enough, we already belong, that all of us are already infinitely and unconditionally loved as we are.
I realised that grace was fundamental to our view of God, and even more, the beginning of everything – the beginning of healing and forgiveness, the beginning of our relationship with God and how we interact with Him, and the beginning of our journey to discover our divine identity, explore our calling, and discover our creative side.
Grace, essentially, is at the heart of our story. And I now believe passionately that grace is what the world desperately needs.
To be people and a world who reflect the way of Jesus, we need a shift in culture – to a culture of grace. A culture which begins with the fundamental truth we’re all enough, we all are unconditionally, divinely loved and accepted as we are.
And this begins with us.
I knew this was a message everyone needed to hear, so, being a writer, I decided to write a book about it – and this book became Mosaic of Grace: God’s Beautiful Reshaping of Our Broken Lives.
Not long after I finished it, my friend Erin read it and thought it was worth publishing. So she agreed to edit and publish the book, and I signed a book contract. And, on February 13th 2017, ‘Mosaic Of Grace’ will be released.
Today, I’m inviting you to be part of a movement of grace. To help reshape the our culture, where you are. And you can help do this by joining my launch team for Mosaic Of Grace.
Why A Launch Team?
A lot of work goes into successfully launching a book, and to be honest, I can’t do it alone. We have a lot of ideas, and I need your help implementing them. This group is going to be special. I plan on personally giving everything I have into it, enabling us to spread this message of grace.
What excites me most though, is that this group is as much about creating a movement, as much as promoting a book. A movement of grace.
We want to reshape the story of our lives, and our culture, to one of grace. And if you’re on the team, you get to be part of that.
I also know many of you are writers, and if you ever plan on publishing a book some day, the experience of a book launch will be invaluable and you’ll get a chance to connect with some great people. Plus, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
What You Get
If you sign up to join the Mosaic of Grace Launch Team, here’s what you’ll get for your time:
An advanced reader copy (PDF) of the typeset manuscript that you can read before anyone else
Exclusive access to a private Facebook group, where we’ll share promotion ideas, build a community, and you’ll have direct contact with me and some experts in book marketing.
The opportunity to interact with other launch team members and see the behind-the-scenes of a book launch.
A special mention on my blog with a link to your website.
A chance to interview me for your blog or podcast.
An invitation to my online launch party hosted by my friend Shayla and other opportunities (yes, we have freebies!).
The chance to be part of a movement which shifts our culture from one of merit, to one of grace.
What I’m asking from you
If you’re picked to be a part of this team, I ask that you agree to:
Read and review the book online (e.g. Amazon, and/or your blog).
Spread the word any way you can before and during the week of February 13 2017 (when the book launches) – blog posts, podcasts, social media – use any medium or platform you have to get the word out.
Interact with the rest of the launch team and participate in the community to help come up with promotion ideas (we’re open to experimenting).
I’m going to be “all in” for this, so I ask that you take it seriously. Please don’t apply if you don’t have the time or energy to dedicate to helping get the word out.
So if you’re all in for this movement, you can join the launch team today. You can do this by filling in the form below, then check your e-mail to confirm your subscription. Once you’ve confirmed, then you’ll be taken to another page where you can click through to the launch team.
I look forward to welcoming you to my launch team, and working alongside you to begin this movement of grace.
